About/CV

Yuna Kim

Artist from South Korea currently based in East Bay, CA. She loves tea, calm vibes, and tactile feelings of analog things, which often find their way into her work.

She uses various media, including printmaking, drawings, papermaking, animation, and installation to explore her personal history and vulnerability, creating pieces that are both comforting and unnerving.

Yuna graduated from Hong-Ik University with a BFA in printmaking and a BA in art theory and later earned her MFA in print media from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. Her work has been showcased both nationally and internationally, and she has been a resident artist at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for Arts and the Vermont Art Studio. In addition to exhibitions, Yuna also collaborates with musicians and companies to create animation music videos and cover art.
